Repair labor is covered for 2–5 years depending on the window series, for the original purchaser only. For glass breakage, it points you to the manufacturer’s warranty. The product warranty can transfer with a form and a fee within 30 days; the labor coverage does not. Caulking is the owner’s responsibility. Terms can vary by franchise.

Labor is covered for 1 year from job completion. An optional Double Lifetime plan adds labor after year 1, capped at $1,400 per window per incident, with leak labor limited to 5 years. The plan transfers once. It excludes acts of nature, misuse, lack of maintenance and anything covered by homeowner’s insurance; glass breakage isn’t listed as covered.

Installation defects are covered for 2 years. A service agreement adds 8 more years at $75 per unit. Coverage transfers automatically. Accidental glass breakage is excluded. You must give written notice within 30 days, and disputes go to arbitration.

Lifetime limited coverage on parts and materials for as long as you own the home. To transfer it, you request it within 60 days of closing, and the fee is given on request. It’s void if the window is drilled, painted or tinted, and it excludes vandalism and acts of God. Glass breakage isn’t addressed.
