Framingham has some of the most recognizable mid-century neighborhoods in Massachusetts. After World War II, farms and orchards on the north side of the city turned into street after street of ranches, split-levels and raised ranches, from Nobscot to the Pinefield area near Saxonville. Older colonials and Victorians still surround Framingham Centre and the historic mill village in Saxonville, and the south side mixes older multi-families with newer homes.

Castle “The Window People” of Massachusetts helps Framingham homeowners replace tired windows with energy-efficient vinyl and swap worn doors for new entry, patio sliding and storm doors, all backed by the Castle Lifetime Guarantee.

Why Framingham Homeowners Replace Their Windows

Many of Framingham’s post-war homes are now 60 or 70 years old, and a lot of them have been through two or three rounds of windows already. Some still have aluminum or early replacement units that sweat in winter, rattle in the wind and fog between the panes. Ranches and split-levels often have big living room windows and long runs of glass that make a room feel cold from November to March.

Framingham’s weather doesn’t help. Winters bring nor’easters, wind and deep freezes, and summers turn humid enough that the air conditioning runs for weeks. Well-sealed vinyl windows help keep rooms comfortable in both seasons, cut the drafts you feel when you sit near the glass, and never need painting.

Window Styles for Framingham Homes

We install vinyl windows only, in every common style, with ENERGY STAR certified options available depending on the package you choose.

Doors for Framingham Homes

Plenty of Framingham homes have a slider off the kitchen or family room that leads to a deck or patio, and older sliders are often the hardest-working, draftiest opening in the house. We install new patio sliding doors that glide easily and lock securely, plus steel entry doors and storm doors that protect your front entry from the weather. Learn more about our door replacement.

Our Install Process

It starts with a free in-home estimate. We measure each opening, look at the condition of every frame, and give you a clear written plan.

Most of our Framingham projects are insert installs. We take out the old sashes, fit a new vinyl window into the existing frame, and keep your interior and exterior trim. If a frame is rotted or damaged, we’ll show you and recommend full-frame replacement for that opening only. Most jobs are finished in one day, so your home is closed up and comfortable by evening.

Serving Framingham and Nearby Towns

Our dedicated install crew covers all of Framingham, from Saxonville and Nobscot to downtown and the south side, plus nearby Natick, Ashland, Marlborough, Hopkinton, Sudbury, Wayland, Southborough, Sherborn and Holliston. Framingham Window Replacement FAQ

My ranch is on a slab. Does that change anything?

Not for the windows. Insert installs work from the existing frame, so the foundation type doesn’t affect the job. We’ll check every opening during the estimate.

Can you replace a big picture window with a bow window?

Often, yes. It depends on the size of the opening and how the wall is framed. We’ll measure and tell you what will work.

Do I have to replace every window at once?

No. Many homeowners start with the draftiest rooms or the patio door and finish the rest later.

Do you offer energy-efficient windows?

Yes. All of our windows are vinyl, and ENERGY STAR certified options are available depending on the package you choose.
